The Hall of Heroes

Many members of WA have led successful Platoons and Divisions. Many have fought in the defense of the Æsir, valiantly and heroically. Through feats of bravery, achievement, commitment, and unwavering loyalty, a special few have been granted the greatest form of recognition and honor the Empire can ever bestow: titles of honor and glory. Although many members command respect for their achievements, very few will ever receive a title.

Titles are not the only way a member can receive official recognition for their achievements. Songs may be composed of their exploits, and stories in the form of sagas written to tell of their deeds. These songs and stories live on even when the person they were written for has passed into legend and the gray mists of time and history.

The greatest forms of granting titles are the elevation of a member to Sainthood within WA, and the granting of a Triumph for a great member. Sainthood happens only in the rarest of cases that a member is considered the model example of what it means to be a Warrior of Æsir. A Triumph is a rare form of recognition, and usually accompanied by celebrations in memory and honor of that person.

Saints

Saints are previous members who have profoundly defined and ensured the existence and survival of WA. They are the most revered members to have ever graced WA, holding the highest honor WA can bestow. All Saints have titles. All Saints are mostly retired members, who might sometimes come back to visit or observe the development of the great clan they helped to create and protect.

Triumphs

A Triumph is a great celebration held in the name and honor of great leaders of WA. A Triumph may include festivities and competitions in the name of the one being honored with the Triumph, along with fresh artwork in honor of their achievements, new songs, stories, and the granting of a new title. Although a Triumph gives its honored member a title, most members who are given titles are not given a Triumph.

For the highly exemplary members of WA who have performed services and acts of heroism so great in the defense, expansion, and growth of WA, titles are bestowed on them, reflective of their qualities and actions. Only members of WA who have been given official titles by the top leadership in WA may wear such titles. Despite the great achievements by many members, only very few members ever receive Imperial titles, which are never taken lightly. In addition to titles, some members receive official heroic songs or stories written in their honor.
