WA

The Warriors of Æsir is an old clan with a distinct personality. It has merged within itself modern naval/military aspects with older Norse and Germanic settings.

The ranking system and most prominent organizational portions of the clan are mostly naval-based and members of the clan adhere to some very specific traditions of protocol.

The culture of the clan is also very much affected by heroic Germanic concepts. Songs are sung for brave heroes of the clan, titles and are given to those worthy of remembrance, kinsmen are carefully recorded and feudal Houses are carefully documented.

WA's purpose is to offer something different, something unique in a world that is quickly being consumed by clones of the same dead-end concept, and of shallow clans who feast upon the successes of others. We are a lone, dark tower of change and defiance: we are the future, we are WA.

We are the Warriors of Æsir, the Einherjar of Odin; the chosen warriors who stood beside the forces of honor, loyalty and valor when fate itself turned against the world. We've fought our Ragnarok, we've survived countless battles: a thousand victories and a thousand losses. Even the ever-cold drifts of time could not pull us away from our duty, our destiny. Every test, every trial, every tribulation we face we have passed and overcome.
Since the day our noble clan was founded on June 1st, 2001, we've told our story and paved our future with vigor.

We began our journey on StarCraft Battle.net, but we've since expanded far beyond that first horizon. From Halo, to Mech Assault 2, to Freelancer, to Chrome Hounds, to World of Warcraft, to EVE we've ventured, taking the spear of the Æsir to our enemies and the hope of the Vanir to our friends.
Despite the places we have spread ourselves to, our original foothold on StarCraft remains strong, and any and all weary warrior who wanders to seek an audience with us can find us there. On the USWest server, in the channel Clan WA you can find us: we will be there.

7/12/10 - 8/18/10 - Emperor Dane leaves for Cambodia as part of a sociology study, and is due to return August 18th.

6/1/10 - The Warriors of Æsir turned 9 years old!

3/22/10 - Our new EVE killboard is up!

2/5/10 - The new WA forums have been reestablished at http://www.waesir.com/hall

12/06/09 - In celebration of our annual Yule festivities, we will be wearing our SnoWA- tags starting December 9th. This applies to every division that is capable of changing their clan tags, from WoW's tabards to new StarCraft accounts. There will also be a Call of Duty MW2 tournament on December 19th. Please check the forums regularly, as info will be posted there when available.
